I liked the first video better, I thought it was more inspiring to see someone go from the top to the bottom, just to help people. When I think of what I'm grateful for I think of lots of the same things as in the second video. I'm grateful that I'm well off and don't have to worry about things like food and shelter.

I liked the first video better (even though I've seen it before) because it showed someone who is truly selfless. We often tell ourselves that we wish we could do something for others or make a change in the world, but we don't take action. If we all took action rather than talked about what we COULD do, how much better would our world be?

I'm so grateful that I have a working, healthy body. I'm grateful for a roof over my head, clean water, food, family. The list goes on and you don't even realize it sometimes. It's the little things that matter most.

I like the first video the best. I thought it was amazing how much that man sacrificed from his own life to help others. One thing I'm truest grateful for is my family. I know they will always be there for me and I am blessed to have them.

I say "thankful, inspirational" wins in my mind. It truly shows how people in our society take everything we have for granted and we don't realize how lucky we are for the things we have. Like clean water, shelter, out safety and food. Millions of people don't have this. I'm thankful for the amazing friends I'm surrounded by. I'm thankful for having someone to talk to about everything. If I were to lose my friends I don't know what id do.

The first video wins I think with the man from India. This video touched me because most of my family is from Trinidad and Tobago, so it's the same kind of concept there. It's so inspiring to see people to that. For that man to give up his "higher class" so help those people is just the most powerful and inspiring thing. In my life I think I take school for granted every day. I don't think we truly realize how lucky we are to have an education while others all around the world don't have that option. It saddens me deeply so I try and make an effort In school because I know that others can't.

I would have to say the second video won because I always find my self complaining about such little aspects of my life but really I have so much to be grateful for.
I would say the one thing I am truly grateful for would be my family I take them for granted and get mad at them lots but I would be nothing with out them.

I think the first video is the win because it make what's going on in India. I greatful for have family.

I liked the second video, it was a great representation of how we take things for granted in our society. After watching the first one, you really see the contrast between how some people live. Both videos were great representations of how differently people live their lives all around the world.

I'm grateful that I have a fully functional body, and I'm thankful to be able to do what I love and not have to worry about if I'm able to do it or not.

Personally I liked the first video better just because it was more inspirational. The second video was interesting and quite accurate to a lot of people nowadays. However, I felt it was a little depressing.. The man from India is truly an amazing person and it was really inspirational to learn about those kinds of people.

I am personally grateful for so many things in my life, first and foremost my parents, who have really taught me everything and have let me grow as an individual. Also, I am really grateful for my social skills; being able to interact and communicate peacefully with all types of people of all different ages. You can learn all sorts of things you never knew by interacting with people and I'm so lucky to be able to interact with a diverse population of people which will then make my outlook on the world much more open.

I really like the second video because it shows how much we take little things in our lives for granted. I know sometimes I might feel like I am having a bad day, but deep down inside I know I have never truly suffered like many people do across the world. Because we have everything from clean running water to a bed to sleep in at night we complain about unnecessary things. I think it's important for people, especially in North America to realize just how lucky they are to have all those little things we take for granted.

I like the first video better for a number of reasons. I feel that the video is thought-provoking, kind-hearted, and optimistic, showing that some people will give up everything just to help others in need. Even at the cost of their social status and wealth.

I think I take for granted the fact that I am free to worship anything or anyone I please. I'm grateful that I live in a country where I can believe what i want to believe without a government or self-interest group telling me that i'm "wrong." I know there are certain places inn the world where people don't have that same privilege that we have here in Canada.

I would have to say I liked the second video better. It did a good job of showing how many little things we really have in our life.

You may have a bad day, or something may not have gone the way you wanted it to but at the end of the day you still have shelter, food, and clean water. We so rarely look at all the little things that make our life so complete. I think the thing I'm most grateful for are my friends and family. I don't know where I would be without them and can't imagine a life without them.

I liked the first video better. It really highlighted how no matter how rich you are, you're never "too good" to help someone else in need. There's always people in need of the basic necessities in life. I really admired that the rich man knew how much he would be losing by interacting with the poor, yet he chose to do it anyway. He saw something wrong and did something about it, rather than just pretending he never saw it or feeling bad but not doing anything to help.
Out of everything I deal with, I'm glad that I have a family that will support me no matter what. We have a good home, with food, shelter, clean water, and I know that my family will love me no matter what I do. We often take for granted the little things that some people don't have the luxury of having, and the little things are what makes me grateful.

I really enjoyed the second video. I thought the second video was more inspiring because it got me thinking about how many people take things for granted. No one really thinks about how grateful they are for the simple things in life, including myself.
After this video I asked myself what I am grateful for. Well I'm very grateful for my family. My family is there for me through everything and I really am grateful to have such great parents.

Out of everything I do every day, the thing that I am most grateful for would be my family and friends. I think I could make do, though not very well, with not having lots of things in my life, but my friends and family are what I could definitely not go without. I like how in the question it says “deal with” because we do deal with things on a daily basis and even though friends and family members can sometimes seem like a bit of a burden I always know I wouldn't be without them in my life and I wish I appreciated them more if even for a moment every day. So out of everything that happens, I am for sure most grateful for the people I love in my life.

I liked both videos a lot, even though I've seen the second one many times, that one always kind of humbles me. I think the first one won because this is something I have been thinking a lot about lately, hunger and what not. Even though this man is a Brahmin Hindu, he is willing to go to people who would be considered as nothing in that culture and show love and bring hope to them.

I am truly, very thankful that I can wake up each morning and know that I can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in abundance, and that I can even choose what I want to eat. It's such a simple thing to us, but it would be a miracle to other people around the world.

I enjoyed both videos but I think that the one that caught most of my attention was the second. It really showed everything we don't realize we have and what we should be thankful for. I liked how it showed day to day events. The first video was also inspiring and showed important aspects but I still thought the second one won. I am grateful for the house I live in and the food and water I have. I am grateful for the opportunities I have and activities I can do.

Both videos won for me because the first one made me feel happy that people in the world can be that selfless. The second one was eye opening to how unbelievably selfish our society has become, we have so much that we take for granted and that's one thing I try very hard not to do because like can change over night.
I am very grateful for everything in my life because I have two very great parents who have provided me and my brothers opportunities some might not get the chance to. I am also very grateful for all the coaches and girls I've met over the years playing volleyball, the sport it's self is a blessing in my life and I've never enjoyed something as much as I do when I'm on the court with my best friends.

I liked the second video better because it showed me what I take for granted every single day, and what other people do as well. And that no matter what you're going through, you have all the necessities in life to survive.
I would have to say the thing that I am most thankful for, are the people in my life like my friends and family. Without them, I wouldn't be the person I am today, and I wouldn't have had the support I needed to get through hard times if it wasn't for them.

I really liked the first video because that man is such an amazing human. He is an inspiration for myself to be better!I can really relate to the second video as those are all the things I am thankful for on a daily basis! Especially being able to come home everyday to a family that loves me and supports me!

Both videos tied for me. I was inspired by the selflessness of the man in the first video - it takes a lot to quit your job and change the whole way you live your life to help others. It was especially inspiring that he was doing this for people that society had attempted to separate him from.
The second video was a good reminder of all the little things much of the world doesn't have. We take so many things for granted in our society.

I am extremely grateful for everyday amenities like food, clean water, and shelter. The thing I'm most grateful for, though, is the people in my life. I'd be totally lost without them.

I've seen the second video before (it actually inspired me to write a huuuuge list of what I have to be thankful for(which I've taped up in my room)) and I really enjoy it, but I'm gonna have to go with the first one.

I'm thankful for my family, my friends, shelter, the fact that I can literally eat anytime I want...

I liked the second video better, it's little things like what were shown in the video that I think we take for granted the most. I forget how blessed I am to live in a free country in a warm house and that I can receive an education. These are some of the things I'm really grateful for and I notice them everyday but don't really take notice.

I really liked the second video about what to be thankful for. I think that video was a really good eye opener because people have a tendency to get caught up in their own worlds and not stop and think about all that they have to be thankful for. This video made me realize just how many things I have to be thankful for like my family and a place to call home. Not everyone has those things so I am very grateful.

I liked the thankful video better. It made me really realize that a lot of people don't really realize what they are thankful for. I think that the simple things like being able to see and having running water is something that everyone takes for granted. I think one of the things I am really thankful for is having a really good friend that I can go to anyone about and that they will always be there for me. I feel like if we all realized what we have in our life that we take for granted we would see our lives in a different way. In canada we are very lucky with what we have that we just expect that we will always have.

The first video was great, it's definitely the winner. He's just one guy that realized that people didn't deserve the lifestyle they had and he did something about it, he is an amazing person and truly needs to be reconize all over the world.\
\
I'm great ful for my mom, for bringing with her to canada even though my father didn't want her to. I'm glad she did it for me.

I liked the second video the most because it talks about being thankful. People don't think that they are contented of their things they alays want to be updated to the newest things it's sad but it's true. This made me realize that I should be thankful for what I have because some people in other countries don't have acess to drinking watch or people are starving and I feel sorry for these people, I'm thankful for having a good family and friends that supports me.

I preferred the second video. It made me realize how much everybody takes things for granted. There are so many things in our lives to be thankful for.
After being quite sick for the past week, I have realized how grateful I am for my family. My parents and siblings take such good care of me and I appreciate it so much.

Unknown said...

i like the thankful video better, because its saying people complain all the time and dont realize how lucky they reallyare to have an own all the things they have when people are struggling all around the world, we have food water shelter education and a working healthy body when other people have none of that. i guess im truly grateful for all the people that actually care about me and the people who has stuck with me through thick and thin, and of course grateful for my family

I think the first video won in my eyes, because I thought it was so cool and probably the most selfless thing I think I've seen anyone do. It's so inspiring to see someone from the top climb his way to the bottom just to help people, should be awarded in my books for sure. I'm so grateful for absolutely everything in my life. I have a roof over my head, access to clean and drinkable water, more than enough food, and also amazing family and friends who love me and support me in anything and everything I do, and I don't take any of that for granted.

This round I would say it's a tie due to me enjoying the videos evenly.
What I like about the first video is seeing someone helping people that a)gave up his "status" to help them and b)help them out of his free will.
What I like about the second video is how they have the text showing all things he takes for granted over the day. Which reminds me of all the stuff I take for granted.

Out of everything I deal with on a daily basis, what I am truly grateful is my family. They support me when I need it and give me the resources and skills I need to be successful in life. Whether it is helping me get equipment, giving me their second opinion, or even just letting me just something off my chest. There are always there.
