The video that wins is the "mother hears" because she could never hear what her sons voice sounded like because she was def. But then she got surgery so then she can hear what her son was saying her husband and anyone else who was talking to speck to her. My life changing experience was when my grandma died. She was more then a grandmother to me. She was my best friend, like my mom because I saw her every minute of the day. I'd have to walk about 30 ft and she was there.. But when she passed away my life changed because my grandma, best friend an like a mother to me..
The first video was the one I liked the most out of the two. Hearing loss is something that can come to anyone at anytime, many who are born without certain senses never get the chance to regain them back. The video was miraculous in the way that she's one of the few people in the world that got that oppertunity and she surely didn't take it for granted. A life changing moment for me in my life (Although recent) would be getting my drivers license. May seem like not a big deal but it's something that I worked towards and achieved. I failed my test the first time sadly and I found it emotionally hard to deal with, I put a lot of time and effort and even excitement into it and then failed. Most of my life is far away from where I am now so having my license allows for freedom and ability to get back some of what I lost and it was sure a big turning point in my life!
I think the second video won for me because my family has had to choose between death and a painful life for a family member before. They were both good videos, but I found I could relate to the second one better.
Personally, I think that every experience changes your life in some way, whether you realize it or not. Every little choice you make or thing you do causes a tiny little alteration, and those little changes add up over and over until your life is far from where it was a week, a month, or a year ago. For me, it's the accumulation of tiny moments that truly change my life - I can't say I've had any one defining moment. One small life changing thing for me was cutting my hair off. I've never felt more like myself than I have since I've done that.
i like the second video because it really shows that sometimes you dont realize how much you dont tell the ones you love how much you actually mean to them, and i think my life changing experience was in grade 9 not gonna tell details but it showed me that nothing lasts forever and all you can do is look past it let it make you or break you,
I liked the second video more because it talks about how we can take life for granted and we need to tell the people we love and admire how we feel when we feel it other wise we might lose that chance to ever say it. It's reminded me of how much I need to tell my family how important they are and how much I love them.
I'm not sure if this is what you call life changing but it's very similar to the second video. I had a volleyba tournament early on a saturday morning and when I woke up my dad was on the phone calming my amma down. When he hung up he told me not to worry and I should just go play my games. Later that afternoon after all my games my dad told me my papa had a heart attack. This was devastating to me because he is my favorite person on this earth and when I thought I lost him i felt broken. Luckily he pulled through and he is still my favorite person but since then I have always paid him a little more attention and have learned to tell my family that I love them a little more often and today's video was also a reminder that I need to do so.
I really liked the second video. I loved when the guy said "Live simply so that other people can simply live." We being in the country that we are, generally, have more than a lot of people could ever dream of.
I could really relate to this video in multiple ways. My mom's dad died when I was really young, so I didn't really understand the struggle of having to take him off of life support.
A turning point for me was moving back to Canada from Texas. It didn't seem like a very big deal, but looking back, I've changed so much!
I enjoyed the first video more, as it was actually footage of an incredible event rather than a moving personal account. However, I enjoyed both videos, as they we both moving, thought the video of a mother hearing her son's voice was more of a happy moving video.
As for a life changing experience, I'd have to agree with Selena in that every experience contributed to the course of your life. I don't have a specific moment that radically changed my world, though I have a vast array of smaller moments and experiences that contributed to shaping my life and who I would become. Every choice, every moment and every action you take has a part in your life in the grand scheme of things, no matter how minuscule or insignificant it may seem.
I enjoyed the first video because it was touching that a mother who is deaf can hear her own son which it really surprises me a lot but I enjoyed both videos. The one life changing experience that I had was when I almost killed myself its too personal to tell why I did it. The day my friend saw my wounds on my arm and he knew that I was trying to kill myself and he told me don't do it and I said "I want to be gone!" minutes after my friend told an EA and the EA called me to speak to a counsellor and it was uncomfortable sharing to a counsellor about my life but I had to to help me get through this after that my parents found out because they saw it and they were curious so I admitted to them then I went to a lot counselling and going to a lot of doctor appointments it was like rehab for me. It changed my life because it made me stronger and it made my family much closer to me and I learned that taking your life away is not worth it and I learned that people who you love will help you and support you no matter the consequences. Looking back to it now it was rough and I promised myself not to do it again.
the second video wins because i can relate to the story , i felt the exact same way when my dad passed , 10.04.10 <3 we take life for granted , never forget whats important to you.
i have had many life changing experiences , i'm really passionate in everything i do , i do everything from the heart a lot of my experiences have changed me for the better and made me a better person
The seconded video was the winner for me because I can relate to it more personally. And it is videos like this that always show important family is.
In terms of life changing moments, the first thing that comes to mind is this one day at a amusement park. Too make a long story short I made some great new friends, almost died, overcame some fears, and got got to know myself better. Overall one of the best days of my life, maybe I should write about it one day.
