I think the second video was the best because it was more funny, it would be odd if we did the things we do online in real life. I use facebook and YouTube, I like YouTube because you can find tons of interesting stuff on it and a whole bunch of interesting people.

I think that the first video about the things I hate about social media wins because I feel like it really did highlight how weird and the bad things about the most used social media. I think my favourite social media is Instagram because you are able to show people what your are truly passionate about and it doesn't quite have the drama the twitter has. I think that Instagram also allows you to document your life and all the things that are happening in you life which in some ways can be a good thing. I think some of my real life is on my Instagram it has a lot of pictures of 2 of my main interests snowboarding and dancing but it does not have the really personal aspect of my life on Instagram.

I think that the first video won. It kept my attention and was quite entertaining. The second one I thought it was kinda just creepy. The first one makes sense. Social media does really change out lives, and not so much in a good way. In the first video everything he said was true. My favourite social media is twitter. I usually go on there when I'm bored and it keeps me entertained. There's always something new to look at.

The second video wins. It was more intresting, and funny at the same time. Favorite social media would have to be twitter, just cause I'm pre famous haha but also ppl tweets are just stupid and funny and keeps me entertained. Not much of my life is reflected on it at all.

I think the second video wins because it was a lot more creative, these people that the guy was talking to had know idea what he was trying to get at it was hilarious. My favourite social network is Definetely vine because I get a could kick out of all of the videos, there all so funny! Everyday I'm on vine so u could say my life is crazy reflected towards it.

I like the second video the best. I think it was entertaining. I don't know that it really proves any point but I thought it was funny that he took the way we communicate online and tried to use it in the real world. My favourite and probably most used social network is Instagram. I think my Instagram account represents my life in a way. I wouldn't say I try to be something I'm not on my account. It could be said however that I use or check it too much. A lot of my time is spent checking social networking accounts.

I liked the second video better. I don't really like those videos on YouTube like the first video. I feel like there's a ton of people doing them and it's all in attempts to be famous. The second guy also really commited to what he was trying to do and wasn't afraid to look dumb to prove his point.

My most used social network is probably twitter. I read it every morning like the newspaper and I'm constantly on it through out the day. I'm not sure why but it's almost addictive. I have to be checking my phone constantly. I don't think twitter reflects me very much. I don't tweet anything ever and the only thing you could really know about me by looking at my twitter is that I like lacrosse.

I think I enjoyed the second video more than the first, although the first video brought up some good points. Some social media sites have gotten so irratating, like Facebook. There is no use to Facebook except for talking to your friends. And like the first video said, people are just 'thirsty' for followers on sites like twitter and tumblr.

I think one of my favourite social media sites is tumblr. I mostly just use tumblr to talk about tv shows and movies that I like. I try not to post a lot of personal information, because I don't want it to come back and haunt me when I'm older.

My favourite video was the first one, because of how he called out how weird our generation is and how many things we do online that are just so odd. I liked the second one too, because it had a comedic aspect, but the first one wins in this battle.
My favourite (and most used) social network is Instagram! It's easy to use, interesting, and has some cool stuff on it. My real life is definitely reflected on it. It's just bits and pieces of it, little memories worth sharing. There have definitely been times when I've posted things that maybe are put of the ordinary for me, or I've seen friends post things that have nothing to with them or aren't relevant to them at all, but either than that, my Instagram (and other social media sites) is true to myself.

I liked the second video more cause it's pretty neat how the guy went into public and just did exactly what everyone does on social media and everyone was creeped out by that. The first one had a lot of really true and relevant things in it but it wasn't as funny or appealing to me.

My favorite and most used social networks would probably bet twitter and Instagram tied because like the guy in the first video said he couldn't go an hour without checking it. Other than basically posting about my life occasionally it doesn't reflect on my life that much.

I really liked both videos, both were really humorous! I thought they both won because they were both extremely right on how social media has evolved. In the first video, with all the trends and how popularity is determined on how much attention your posts receive. The second one made me think how weird social media is as well, I mean people can poke you on Facebook... Why? My most used social media app would have to be Instagram because I love photography. I love capturing my life in pictures.

I really liked both videos but if I had to choose one of them I would choose the Can I Be Your Friend video. I thought it pointed out and actually showed what the problems were with social media networks. It was really funny too and showed how strange we are online and it made me become more aware of what we do online.

My favorite and most used social networking site would have to be tumblr. It's not so much that a lot of my life is reflected on it but more of what I like and how I see things and what I find funny. I kind of purposely make sure that nothing about my life is reflected on it, it's just something for fun. More of my life is reflected on places like Facebook because I actually know these people and can not accept their friend request if I don't know them and I guess it's just to show what I'm up to that I find worth sharing or saying.

I liked both videos but I think I preferred the second one better. The first highlighted flaws in each social media platform which I liked but I found it quite funny to see how people reacted to ''real life'' social media. I think that I like instagram the best. I find myself using it a lot more. I also like tumblr and YouTube cause it is entertaining. My life on instagram is shown a little. I have pictures of myself and my family and friends. I don't really post too often so I can't even think about what I have on there.

My favorite was the 2nd video. I thought it was really funny and interesting how all those things the man was doing are completely normal online. I think the social network I use the most is probably Instagram. I don't post very often but I like going on it. It's my favorite social network because I'm really into photography and I follow lots of photography accounts so it's cool to see all the different pictures and ideas. I think my Instagram reflects my real life sort of? As I said I don't post all that often but when I do the posts are usually of things I have done.

The first one wins for me. Mostly because it was so funny and so true. It's one of those videos that you never really think of how true the information being said is, but it's kind of like, mind blown. He was right, all his points were valid and his arguments are relevant.
My favourite/most used social media site that I use a lot would have to be Instagram and twitter. The reason why I use these is because I like the idea of having a twitter to see what others are doing, and I like Instagram because it's kind of like twitter but with pictures, sharing what your doing, or what you did. I don't think they've changed my life, just the fact that I'm always on them proves how much we revolve around these social media sites.

I liked the second video better because it shows how when you change the things we do online to real life, how creeped out people get. It was interesting and funny to see things like, following people, or asking someone to be a friend in real life is so different than when you do it online... But why? My favourite, most used social media site is Instagram. I like the fact that Instagram shares stories using pictures with friends and family. I check my Instagram frequently and enjoy looking at other peoples pictures.

Personally, I liked the second video best because it portrayed social media in a way I had never thought about before. I did also like the first video because it was quite accurate but it wasn't as funny.

Personally I like using instagram, just because I like looking at and taking pictures. I feel as though my real life is reflected by my instagram account, as it shows what I like and dont't like as well as where I was when I took the picture but I try to limit the amount of personal information I put on it.

I liked the first video better because his video style was more energetic and hyper which appeals to me more. Also, he was more modern and used the newer social media platforms.

I use twitter more than any other social media site; it's just easier to use because I can tweet whenever and people can't even judge me for tweeting constantly because that's the point of twitter. I think it accurately shows me and who I am because it is an archive of all my thoughts, as they happen. It's like getting a sneak peek into my brain.

In my opinion both of these videos were great. They both kept me very interested and were very clear. If I had to chose one I would say I liked the second one more. The second video I thought explained what exactly happens on the net and everyone kinda need a wake up call.
Instagram I'd say is my most used media app. I love seeing what's happening around the world and the great ideas others have.
I don't really spend a lot of time on Instagram. Posting a new picture everyday isn't really my thing. I do enjoy taking pictures and capturing moments but I don't share everyone I take.

I like the second video better. I feel that visually it was more interesting and it wasn't just jump cutting and censored swearing (which is apparently is ok for class). The message was also stronger, pointing out social media flaws through satire and light-hearted comedy.

My personal favorite is Youtube. Youtube is a wonderful device for watching videos, uploading creations, pirating other people's work, and making money off of chumps who like your stuff. God Bless Google for creating such a wonderful device.

I enjoyed the second video a lot by the way the man decided to go around and do everything that happens on social media sites. He really put in to perspective what we really do on social media I thought he did a good job at making the audience laugh. He really had a good way to get his point across , and
enjoyable. The other video had some really good points to. The guy had some funny ways to address his point of social media. My favourite and most used would be Instagram. I never really use anything else. I like to post pictures and look at them rather then "tweet" or write something. I personally hate vine because of the annoying short videos , I never got into them and don't really understand the point.

I liked the second video more because I thought it showed the flaws in social media better and through a more creative way. My favorite social network is twitter, I think that it has all the elements that Facebook and Instagram have all in one website. I don't post too much about my life, I don't have my location turned on and I don't reveal too much about my actual life.

The second video was the winner for me because it just made my day due to how funny it was.
My favorite social network by far is Youtube. Whether it's watching "How to's" or watching some funny videos.

I think the second video wins. I think it wins because it made me really think about how silly the way we use social media is. For example when the guy asked the girl if she had twitter and he said he would follow her. She thought he would follow her on twitter but instead he actually followed her in person. He followed her around after she left.

My I think my most used network Is Instagram. I use it a lot more then Facebook or any other social networking site. I like posting pictures so it is my more used app.

I think the second video was the best, I find it funny that online all the things the guy did is normal but as soon as you apply them in real life it becomes creepy and not alright. It makes you wonder if what you do online is really a good idea. I probably use Twitter and Instagram the most, I like twitter more because you can follow some pretty cool people and your friends and relate to them in 140 characters. I'm not a fan of all the drama that comes with social media so I try to limit my use but it can be extremely hard.

Unknown said...

I thought the second video brought a humorous aspect to a somewhat serious topic of how odd it truly is that we share so much of our lives online with what could be total strangers.
I would have to say my favourite social medias would have to be Instagram and twitter with vine as a close third because it is just so hilarious.
I'm not really sure how much of my real life is reflected through my social media usage, I don't feel I post that much though I guess it would depend on the posts I makes.
