Blog Fieldtrip!

One week ago, I warned you that you'd be getting visitors to your blog . . . At today it's happening!  For today's class you are going to be visiting your classmates blogs, exploring their posts, and contributing meaningful comments to things you find of intereste.  Remember, meaningful comments are meant to extend a conversation (no flirting, or empty cheerleading).  At the end of class, come back here to Cre8tive Havoc, and leave a comment on this post, discussing which blogs you visited, and what your comments. reactions were!

Here's a list of your classmates blogs, now off you go:

I looked at the majority of the classes' blogs. I commented on about 4 posts that I could relate to. I commented on Kellie's digital footprint, Michelle's personal thoughts, Bethany's video and Caitlin's post about her favorite TV show.

I actually looked at most of the blogs here! I only left comments on a few though. I asked a few questions and I just posted random things. I commented on a few peoples digital footprints. I commented on one persons Dear Photographs which makes me want to try it! I also posted complimented on someones art piece which I thought was absolutely incredible!

I visited almost all the blogs on this list, many still didn't have anything more than the digital footprint and reading survey. But, those who did you could really see their passions coming through. I commented on posts that I felt I related too.
Two of the blogs I commented on were Carly Bretecher and Michelle Zhou's. I commented on these because they posted about things I enjoy as well like Carly's music and Michelle's poetry picks! I was also intrigued by Ashlyn Erickson and Caitlin Graham's, both of their passions could really be seen and I feel like I know much more about them now!

I looked at many blogs and they really do become more interesting when you put your personal touch to them. I loved how Ashlyn tried doing "Dear Photograph". She did a great job and now I am more intrigued to do it!

I looked at quite a few blogs and it's seriously cool to see what people are passionate about. I left comments on Carly's, Rebecca's, and Kellie's blogs. I commented on Carly's Blimeycow video, Rebecca's post about her passion-reading, and Kellie's post about "Keep Smiling". They all had super interesting posts and I really enjoyed them(: I asked them all questions related to these posts and I'm looking forward to getting their replies!

I went to Carly's blog and I commented on her digital footprint photo. I checked other people's blogs and they are okay. One of my favorite things that l liked all on their blogs was when they're talking about their passion on something.

The blogs that I looked at today were really interesting! It really let me get to see who some the pople in my class and school are who I've never talked to before!
I only commented on a few posts! I love how Michelle's blog had personal thought posts, I thought that was really creative! I really liked Carly's fall bucket list. I also liked Caitlin's HIMYM post and how her blog really showed her passion! I really liked the blogs that the person really opened up to show you the reader who the person behind the blog is!

I checked out a few of the blogs, and despite the fact that this is an assignment, it is interesting getting to know people in a different way through the blogs, learning new things about them. I commented on Carly's post about Africa, Taryn's personal touch about doing things for the sake of enjoyment rather than fame, Bethany's post about Jui Jitsu and Rebecca's discussion about love.

I visited pretty much all of these blogs. It's awesome how on all of the ones that have added more than what was assigned, even if it's just one extra post, you can get an insight into their lives and who they are. I commented on Emily's post about Wreck This Journal, Taryn's Questions post, Michelle's post about pressure related to school, and Kellie's Keep Smiling post. A lot of the blogs are really well done and I'm excited to see more posts!

My blog field trip consisted of almost all of the blogs. Although quite a few were left with only a reading survey and digital footprint, the ones that had updated were really interesting! Some highlights: Emily's perfectionism vs artistic post, Emily's church humor and family posts, Madeline's photography post, and all of Caitlin's Irish dance touches. I enjoyed being inspired by everyone and learning more about my classmates.

Most of he blogs I visited on my field trip either had videos with missing links, or blogs that had no posts at all. My hi-lights were going to Braxton's blog because he has a direct link to his stream and I think that's really awesome! I also really enjoyed Emily Neufeld's "christian pick-up lines" those really made my day. I really enjoyed seeing what everyone's interests were and I hope that I can do more work on my own blog to make it represent me a lot better.

I looked through every blog (yes, each and every one!) so that took me a while..
A lot of people didn't add anything other than their assignments, so that was kind of lame, but others put a lot of effort into their blogs! I really enjoyed Selena's and Emily P.'s blogs. They were really pretty and clean. I commented on a bunch of people's posts, so here's a list;

- Kellie's post about staying positive
- Emily P's post about perfectionism
- Carly's post about going on mission trips
- Ashlyn's "Dear Photograph" post
- Maddy's post about the homecoming game
- Selena's posts about her artwork (I LOOOVE THE VIOLIN ONE)
- Casey's post about Ed Sheeran's song
- James' reading survey (EVERYONE GO LOOK AT HIS DEVIANT ART - it's amazing!!)

Overall, I got to see what my classmates are into and that was cool. I also enjoyed getting comments on my own blog!

Alright I just woke up from my coma (Power nap) and just had a questionable amount of Reese's Pieces, now I am ready to talk about my field trip. I carefully looked at EVERY single blog (Your not the only one Michelle) and while some were rather "plain" I was actually really impressed with a lot of the blogs. Here are some of the highlight that really stuck out for me;

Kellie's blog "Keep smiling" I really love reading posts about people's experiences and point of views. You can learn lot from them and maybe even change your life for the better.

Ashlyn's blog "Blast from the Gymnastics Past" The back flips are strong in this one

Casey's blog "Songify Cats" She had me at cats, and if you see any really silly songs on my blog you can thank her for that.

Cody's blog "Pete The Penguin" I'm not 100% percent sure why but that Penguin made my day. Unfortunately Pete suffers from the same issues that my Stream has. The school (AKA "The Man" blocks him) #SavePete

Michelle's blog "Change the World" There's no explanation good enough to explain how great this video is please just watch it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7s22HX18wDY#t=155

Selena's blog "Everything?" This is arguably one the best if not the best blog I have seen so far. This one of the few blogs where
-It Showcase what they are passionate about and tell WHY they like it in detail
-She Share what their tastes are (Music,Videos,Art,etc)
-Includes Pictures (bonus points because she made the pictures too)
If you want a benchmark on what's a example of a "good" blog, keep your eyes on this one.

What all these blogs showed me is that I really need to pick the slack and finish the stuff I had planned out. Which is really easy after being inspired by all these blogs.

Today I visited most of the blogs. I enjoyed scrolling through and reading about other classmates interests. A few of the blogs really stood out to me. Bethany's was a great help for ideas and I love her style so her blog was one of my favorites. Kellie's blog also stood out. I was stuck while tweaking my blog and her blog gave me a lot of ideas and was very creative.

My little virtual field trip took me to many blogs some like my own that are a little bare but others were just amazing like Carly's with her little bucket lists and song suggestions or Danielle's with all the cool gadgets! It really opened me up to the possibilities that I can do for my own blog.

I looked at most of the blogs in class and I found lots of them really interesting! There were lots of things that I could relate to, like the digital footprints. The posts that I commented on were Maddie's pictures of the homecoming game, Sierra's picture of nutella & fruit and Alisha's picture of a sunset. With looking at all the blogs out there, I was given many ideas for my own blog & it was nice seeing what everyone else thinks about different things. Can't wait for future posts!

Got around to checking out most of the blogs and I especially liked checking out the personal touches that people posted. It's so cool to see what people (that I may have never spoken to before) are interested in. I enjoyed comparing the different variations gadgets that people used such as clustr maps and instagram/twitter feeds. I commented on were Caitlin, Bethany, Amelia, and Jeremy's blogs.

I visited all the blogs on the list, and a majority of them are really neat! There were a couple with no other posts than their digital footprints and reading surveys, but the ones that did have other posts were really interesting to look at. Some of them inspired me to do these things as well. I commented on a couple of the blogs, like Kellie's family photos, Ashlyn's Dear Photograph, Carly's fall bucket list, Paige's favorite quotes, Maddy's school spirit post, and Emily's Christian Pick Up Lines post. I can't wait to see what else people will be posting in the future!

I was able to visit all the blogs on the list. Sadly most weren't interesting to me. I found many to just have the reading survey and digital footprint. The ones who had added to theirs only had one or two extra postings. Although I was interested by Jeremys posting about Big Brother so I commented my thoughts on a player he was talking about. Catilins was awesome, she took the time to add multiple postings about her passion and it was very interesting. I'm looking forward to looking at the blogs in the future when people have posted more about them.

I really liked a lot of the blogs I thought they reflected people's personalities. I liked Kendra's a lot because I think it shows what she's into and what's important to her. I also liked Ashlyn's blog as we'll I thought her dear photograph pictures were very cool. And sierras fruit and Nutella is delicious I tried it this weekend with strawberries. I commented on maddies and sierras.

After visiting all the blogs on the list, I noticed that a lot of them didn't show everyone's passions, as they had only posted a reading survey. I couldn't learn much about them as a person, but some people had posted a lot. One of my favourites was Emily's "Wreck this Journal" posts, its a very cool way to keep your blog active and exciting every week. Some other favourites of mine were Kellie and Michelles blogs, they both have posted a lot about themselves in creative ways and that's COOL.

I visited almost all of the blogs on the list. It was interesting to see the differences in how they were all designed and how they reflected every ones personality. Kellie's blog stood out to me because she had added a lot of extra things to it like a throwback Thursday. I managed to comment on one of her 6 word memoirs that was posted. I thought her picture choice was really good!

Kendra's blog and Brendan's blog were the most out going towards me. captured my eyes. Brendan's blog was like a little piece of my mind, I am into all that pro wrestling thing and it was just fun to know that there's someone in this class like that. Kendra's was cute and I knew what was going to be on her blog but I was still Getty up when I saw it.
